Funny considering I am the one who has only lived in Northeast and Cali, not you

When I lived out west we'd go sometimes and we like it, very clean and open kitchen, and the girls who work there were at least mildly attractive, at least in the reno location, which blew my mind

The cleanliness or the mild attractiveness? Or both?

How does that compare to Five Guys? I'm guessing they're nearly identical.

But this is a self righteous mob of panty waist college boy beta males, I mean, what are they gonna do, invade us with thesis dissertations? Just because you enable your entitled college brats, that doesn't make them an army.
That's exactly the sort of arrogance that's allowed things to get this far.
Oh this all happened in Canada a long time ago, back in the 60's, except in Canada it wasn't against the Confederacy, it was against anything British, and it wasn't done to appease black people, it was done to appease Quebec. The liberals won this war in Canada, when I was still in short pants, why do you think it is that Canada is so much more liberal than the USA? They erased Canadian history and replaced it with their own dogma and iconography, then they raised three generations of Canadians who know nothing but that.

And it's made Canada a lovely pet. It's like a happy dog that chews on our slippers once in a while.

In and Out is better, but pretty much the same thing, IMO.
When I flew out to Sedona with the fam 2 years ago, my yankee relatives had In and Out for the first time and thought it was better.
But so many direct competitors now, all pretty similar I suppose

Well, the point was indeed to take the edge off of everything, nationalism, militarism, sectarianism, all that sort of thing, and it has turned Canada into a Beta country. On the other hand, it's nice and quiet, which, I'm not really looking for anybody to stir up a ruckus, that's a pain in the ass.

I envy that. Still a prospective Canadian, in my mind, even though I won't be emigrating for a few more decades.
The prevailing thought in Weimar Germany, actually. But then of course it was different. They weren't clowns vs freaks back then, but a fresh new way of looking at the World. People back then took seriously these things.
