Yeah, I kind of like the Juke, NIsmo spices it up, but for around the same price, you could have a WRX, Impreza > Juke, all day.

Nissan would have to make it a heck of a lot hotter, and sleeker, if they wanted to go up against the hothatches, a performance Juke? What's the market? Doesn't have a niche.

When you can get the Subaru at 0.9% financing, why you gonna bother with a NisJuke?

Loves me some Impreza too, specially at 0.9%; free money financing, new car smell. Can't get a brand new Evo, can't get it brand new, can't get new car financing, ergo, buh-bye Mitsubishi, hello Subaru.

I like the new fiesta hot hatches. Six speed, factory turbo, lsd and good suspension I think. Fwd but that don't bother me. Good price point and Ford is usually pretty good with 4cyls.

Poor Man's RS, coming out of the same factory in Cologne Germany. But if I'm going to a German Ford Hot Hatch, I'm going all the way to RS, no sense in being half assed about it, in for a penny in for a pound.

Did they make a new RS? I thought they stopped last year. Yeah but at RS prices now you're back at evo/wrx prices. Hell that new rabbit is around the same price point but I do not trust German engineering. Oh people swear by it, but can I work on it? No? I think the 2018 RS limited edition is the last of the line, so we're back to Impreza, or VW, but I don't trust VW neither.

For an Evo replacement, all roads keep leading back to Impreza.

I have driven the Golf GTI by the way, it's quick, but you don't really get a chubb dog off it, they've engineered all the rough edges out of the ride, problem then being; Zzzzzzz, doesn't actually feel that sporty, when you put the hammer down and throw it around, it just refines the ride to the point where you are; Meh.
