Today is the 75th Anniversary of the Battle of Midway (main battle), the US sank 4 Japanese Carriers and 1 Heavy Cruiser at the cost of 1 Carrier and 1 Destroyer. The Battle turned the tied in the Pacific forever.

Fuck yes DDAY! Great day for America. I believe today is also my grandfather's birthday. He served, but did not storm Normandy. Spent most of his time in the Pacific theater. Ended up in the Philippines for awhile when the war was over.

Indian passed the piss test and I guess my grandpa had to sober up for a day. Of course the next day he was too old to be drafted so he decided to go back home on the train.
