I don't know, and quite frankly its pretty sickening to me that you would even suggest that there is anything funny about the economic situation in the Middle East. Arabs are some of the most tolerant hard working people in the world and it makes me very upset when people like you denigrate them on a message board. Every day, muslim scientists create vaccines and medical technology that leaves the West in the dust. We are still trying to catch up with them and we continue to pursue discriminatory immigration policies against middle easterners we might not even be able to set up a female circumcision center at Johns Hopkins. Most of the Hadron collider was built and desinged in Sanaa Yemen, where the world's top engineering firms are located, and I would not feel safe flying in a jet unless I was certain it was made from Libyan blueprints and manufactured in Sirte. 85% of all American textbooks are written in Riyadh, which you probably didn't even know. Ever wonder why they call Saudi Arabia "The Open Society?" Of course not, because you are too busy mocking one of the most dynamic cultures on the planet. Its ignorance like this that makes the West the laughingstock of the Arab world.
