My absolute favourite film of all time is not actually a movie, it's a documentary...

Trinity and Beyond

Narration is Bill Shatner. (Great Canadian)

I suddenly want to "Duck and cover"

Aye true. I'm Oscar Mike...Securing Alpha.
This beach head is a good enough one to stand and fight on, we just need to draw some fresh meat into the grinder every now and then. If it becomes Gallipoli or Anzio because we sat on our complacent arses too long then we need to move on.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

In no particular order:
1) Star Wars: A New Hope
2) Raiders of the Lost Ark
3) Kingdom of Heaven
4) The Dark Knight
Late 20's? Those selections are cute but they scream of innocence. No one, who's balls have dropped, calls the original Star Wars "A new Hope". It is and always will be just known as the first Star Wars.

I went to see it in the theatre in 1977, and it was simply called Star Wars I assure you.

1. Big Lebowski
2. Pulp Fiction
3. The Matrix
4. Rocky (any of the first 4)
5. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation

I hate making lists like this, because my favorites change frequently, and I can't put them in order without angst.
  • The Usual Suspects
  • John Wick
  • The Big Lebowski
  • Office Space
  • Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
