They all have their own Parliaments and make their own laws.
Many, including Australia, have chosen via referenda to keep Her Majesty as their non-political head of state.
Not sure what definition of ''truly independent'' you are using but it doesn't match mine.

Because yours comes from a Queen.
It's the Queen to you pleb.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Which members of the Commonwealth aren't truly Independent?
A. Not the point, the point is all these Commonwealth States had plenty of time to become truly free nations but they did not, because deep down, love Centralized Power.
B. I'm talking about places like Australia, Canada and Scotland. As long as they are still saying Hail to Queen, they are not truly independent. Check their Constitutions, they all refer to the Crown.

Again, the point is these Commonwealth States have had their chance to choose greater Liberty and Freedom, they have not. It indicates something about the populace, they are people happy having an overseer, this translates to what we see happening with the Police in Australia.
One advantage of a monarchy with power is if they do not respect your freedom you can just assassinate them, and hope the next monarch is better. In a democratic system once you have mob rule it is hard to end mob rule without military intervention.

Fucking crazy. Can't even sit outside and eat. Being seen twice in one day is a crime over there. I can't even begin to imagine. Motherfuckers.
Yep, and their leaders are telling them to forget pre-Covid rules, submit, we are never going back to normal, there will always be COVID forever.
