If you say so. I think any large human organizations tend toward incompetence, corruption, and subhuman behavior. Use your preferred definition for that, but it's real.Hwen Hoshino wrote:Fits under the umbrella.GrumpyCatFace wrote:In the small- or family-business environment. Larger organisations and civilisations do sometimes have advantages in terms of innovation and efficiency in keeping costs down until they reach levels where monopolies and corruption come into play.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Thanks. My bus used to drop me off at home right when a movie was ending, and afternoon cartoons were about to start. That final scene is all I've ever seen of that one.C-Mag wrote:Okeefenokee wrote:I really need to know. Easy One.
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot.
The Kid was Jeff Bridges
You lose 5 Clint Eastwood bucks for not knowing that.

It's a pretty good movie. I think the whole thing is on YouTube. Has George Kennedy in it, it's about a bank heist.Okeefenokee wrote:Thanks.
