This seems to be the general opinion of Norway from what limited info I have. Jed Clampett, the country. From what I have read, they also fucked Denmark out of that North Sea Oil Claims in 1969 because the PM at the time was an alchoholic. That rules
I guess nobody thought there was oil there. Norwegians are awesome
They have good cars too. The Fords of Norway are internationally recognized.

About 65 million in the UK. Up to 600 cases and 10 deaths this morning. We've moved from containment phase to delay phase so as not to swamp the NHS during the winter bed shortages. Britain has not taken the same strict measures as many other countries yet. According to the experts we are about 4 weeks behind Italy in the progression of the disease.BjornP wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2020 11:00 amThey sent an email at midday today, saying all meetings at the museum (which is a museum that owns several other museums) are suspended until end of March. They're also closing the museums for the Easter holiday. The most visited museums, the viking/iron age museums at the Fyrkat and Lindholm Høje sites looks like they'll be closed until the 100+ person restrictions are lowered again. My contract for the regular paying job will begin in May, so hopefully the Health Department restrictions will have been eased. The email from the job said that some of the museum staff, primarily those who work with actual customer/guest interaction, are not going to get any shifts, so they're looking at at least a month of no pay.Montegriffo wrote: Wed Mar 11, 2020 2:40 pm
Good luck with the internship/job Bjorn. Hopefully, it is just delayed rather than cancelled.
I've just gone back to work (at a pub) after a 4 month break just in time for trade to die off with people staying at home. Suffolk got its first case of coronavirus yesterday in Bury St Edmonds about 40 miles away.
I went to my local supermarket today and the shelves were well stocked, still got loo rolls but there was a polite notice saying that customers were limited to 3 units so that there won't be any shortages.
Still only about 450 positive tests here and 8 deaths so far. No restrictions on sporting events etc yet. Most schools are open apart from a few where there were cases of coronavirus after skiing trips to Italy.
With only 450 cases out of 20 million (?), you're doing fine. We got 500+ infected so far, that's counting people who have since recovered and are symptom-free. No deaths. And...*sigh* people are starting to panic buy toilet paper, food, etc. apparantly, according to some TV reports. All the radio and TV warnings explicitly, and repeatedly say that there is no food shortage, and that private companies, including supermarkets are going to stay open. Guess there might be a food and toilet paper shortage if idiots buy twenty times more supplies than they actually need.Hopefully our supermarkets will impose a sensible limit to discourage unnecesary hoarding.
It is possible that we may have to cancel my juggling convention at the farm. If all the camps are canceled the farm is going to take a big economic hit. We have about 6 camps in total between May and August and they bring in about £15-20k of very welcome income.

When the Ditch and Britts started to drill in the north sea the Norwegians suffered from extreme minority complex. They had never run anything more advanced than a fish tin factory.
They turned to us Swedes. For a 50% share of Volvo they would give us 50% of whatever oil we could find together.
The offer was put before the Volvo shareholders. They turned it down.
The deal of the century. Lost because of lack of imagination.

On average, people in Denmark only work 28 hours per week. How is that sustainable? How can they possibly think that is sustainable. Hell, even Dovne Greeks work harder than that. The IMF should come in there and trim the fat off the gov't. It would actually help those Danes if someone taught them how to do some real work. Maybe even save their country...
Danish schools are in the toilet, as is their healthcare. In fact, desite living in a Communist society, Danes pay most healthcare costs out of pocket, and actually get turned away from the ER. They have a low life expectancy, because they eat candy and pork fat. They openly admit this. They also smoke and drink alcohol. They do this every day sometimes. I'm actually worried for Bjorn's health, because even if gets a fatal case of corona, he will probably get thrown out of the hospital. I'm just glad I don't live there.
I feel exhausted after I post on this forum, because I spend hours combing scientific websites for exact data and irrefutable facts. I don't get paid to do this, but it is worth it because despite the hard work I put in, I learn objective truths.

1,226 cases of Covid in Denmark. You guys are a joke. Even corona doesn't want to go to that shithole.
