Only viable with the VATS perks, though.

3/4 inch pipe and 1 inch pipe and a pipe cap and a round file is all u need and a wooden dowel and a copper bb for a firing pin or get creative. I have made multiple and they hold up in the long term. i recommend hacksawing the threads off and angle grinding it even for a stronger chamber. pipe can handle 25 000 psi before elastic bulging occurs https://www.full30.com/watch/MDA5MjQ4/u ... rture-test and... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5EgO5XGcjtk The one in the picture is more complicated and fancy than it needs to be. ive shot mine 300 times in 2 years make one. I also reload my own ammo from shells i find on the ground where people shoot. and about half the rounds ive shot thru my pipe shotgun are factory buckshot the rest hand loaded. have fun at your local gun store/ home hardware
Damn, you need chromium stones to put that thing to your cheek and pull the trigger....

Because it looks like pipe bomb? Seriously, that shit is not made to contain explosions. A lot of it is even crappily made in China. I once installed some gas piping, and detected a leak. Tuned out not to be a joint, but a cast iron elbow that literally had a hole in it from poor quality control.
We are only accustomed to dealing with like twenty online personas at a time so when we only have about ten people some people have to be strawmanned in order to advance our same relative go nowhere nonsense positions. -TheReal_ND

I'll take Chinese pipe over the shitty Indian pipe in most hardware stores. The guy makes this model with two pipes over each other. Worst case would be expansion unless you cap the other end. It's probably safer than the slam guns the old army manuals used to teach people how to build.

If people take weapons away from you, you make your own. It may not pass Quality Control, but it will be effective in a pinch. If you think you are going to use it for more than a single activity you are nuts.

They suffice in Fallout Boston. I mean, you want to upgrade to something good later, but until then, it's better than just a pipe club.

Also, Sch. 80 pipes can hold more PSI than a standard 40.

Schedule 80 is heavy as fuck. But at least it has the pressure rating and manufacturer printed right on the side.
