Its funny, because Dan discussed Hoover in his Radical Thoughts podcast or whatever that HH was titled. He didn't like the guy, and to be honest I kind of don't either, but Dan tactfully avoided all the fucked up espionage that happened throughout govt, hollywood and in business. The more I read about the KGB, and the more I have a begrudging respect for McCarthy and his lot. Whether or not the commies ever had a shot of taking over America is one question. Whether or not they had all kinds of admirers in the media, govt, and hollywood is not really up for debate. Aside from Alger Hiss, FDR had a lot of influential members of his cabinet that were Stalin lovers, as well as his nasty wife. Its kind of fucking scary tbh. I wish Hoover had exposed more of those fucks looking back. People who defend those reds exposed during that time like Dan are what Lenin termed, "Useful Idiots." Though Dan is pretty much useless now. Even his HH's are blander than rice.Smitty-48 wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 3:50 pm Hoover kept things for Hoover.
Hoover was not out to stage coup de tats.
Hoover was a patriot in his own way.
He knew they were all corrupt, he was just documenting that, but not to screw people.
I think Hoover felt like he was protecting America, Hoover had to know everything, just in case.

I'm ambivalent about Hoover, but I think I understand his motivation.
Hoover was not a whistleblower.
Hoover was not so naive.
Hoover understood that politics were fundamentally corrupt and always would be.
Hoover knew that if he blew the whistle, that wouldn't change anything.
Hoover would simply end up being frozen out of the loop.
I think Hoover saw corruption as a minor issue, price of doing democracy.
Hoover was more concerned about national security.
Hoover just didn't trust anybody to protect America, other than Hoover.
It was Hoover's job, because nobody else could do it.

Hollywood was the Jewish-Bolshevik Conspiracy.
Hoover didn't sympathize with the Nazis taking over the world, he did however think that they were right about the link between Jews, Communists, and Degenerate Art.

They are definitely faggots without a doubt, but calling them communists is giving them the benefit of the doubt which they don't deserve. Russell Brand probably doesn't even know who Lenin is. I don't doubt that they are marxists, I just doubt they arrived at that conclusion by doing any sort of research or critical thinking. It always disappoints me when I see an artist/director/musician I like giving an interview. You realize that these people are basically just spewing the same rotting garbage every NPC moron in the liberal bubble is. They have immense talent in many cases but no insight. None whatsoever. Like, I love the wire, but after seeing David Simon's interviews, it is almost a fluke that he was able to make it, because he is this big gov't semen swallower, even though his show is evidence for how shitty this system is. I don't understand it man. He's like a bozo savant. This Phillip Roth book he's adapting will probably have good writing but an HIV positive message. Fuck him, but I like 3 of his shows.GloryofGreece wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 4:03 pm There were a ton of communist in Hollywood and I mean to be honest aren't most so called artist communist ?

Whether you are Hitler or Hoover, the key is the Degenerate Art.
The Jews are Bolsheviks, but the mechanism of indoctrination, of the masses, is the Degenerate Art which undermines faith in the Reich.

Welp, we are all fucked then, because the degeneration has seeped into all of our pores. Being conservative in this culture is like paddling upstream. Degeneration is water flowing downhill, always looking for the path of least resistance. Its not quite what he meant, but I'm reminded of one of Fife's earlier signatures: Find a respected institution.Smitty-48 wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 4:17 pm Whether you are Hitler or Hoover, the key is the Degenerate Art.

Find a respected institution, make some movie show or song that undermines it, pump filth into the culture, expand govt and control, rinse and repeat. We've been doing that for at least 70 years. Why can't conservatives and Rightists make popular art?

I'd like a Spartan UBI movie that decries the Progressives and makes them out to be the disgusting animals that they are and maybe has a Pinochet protagonist. I'd pay $15 to see it in theaters. Why can't we have that?

The mistake that people make about the Nazis, is asserting that their obsession was Jews and Communists.
That wasn't what they were obsessed with.
They were obsessed with art.
After the war, the modern artists rise and commence a critique of the war by art.
The Nazis were a backlash to this.
The Degenerate Art undermines faith in the Reich, and that is what brings the Reich down in the end.
