To end war, we would have to cease to be Homo Sapiens Sapiens anymore.
None the less, bovine herbivores would never have walked on the Moon.
An end to war is an end to human civilization.

All that underwater basket weaving and associated liberal decadence?
That can only happen as a result of the thermonuclear bomb.
The H-bomb is the ultimate bourgeoisie protector.

Medical advances, information technology, space program, industrial output, academic sciences, etcetera.
It's all war. World War One, World War Two, and the Cold War.
The First World War is a singularity.
Like an historical Big Bang.
The entire world we inhabit now, is an expanding event horizon from Mons in Belgium.
Without the Great War, it would still be like the 19th century now.

This is why the thermonuclear bomb is America's greatest invention.
You need war to advance. It is the territorial predatory nature of the beast which drives us.
But you don't want to have a buncha World War Ones and Twos to getter done.
Cold War is perfect.
Best of both worlds, all the spinoffs, without the trenches.
It is dangerous, but whatever. Life is risk. Everybody gotta die sometime.
No war; no risk.
No risk; no effort.
No effort; no space program.

You have to kill it on shit people care about. No one knows the name of the best triathlete in the world at this moment - but I guarantee the stuff they do is really hard.

The Brownlow brothers from Yorkshire.
Didn't even have to Google it

For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

But good on them. I’m sure they’re still pretty good.

Alstair was Gold medalist in 2012 and 2016 Olympics and Johnathon was Bronze in '12 and silver in '20.
