Of course, they got the fucking French, so Faisal and all them were willing to fight the French army on horseback. The Vietnamese hated the French too, as did the Algerians. The British dealt with some heavy shit, but imo the Mau Maus treated the British in Kenya with kid gloves compared to how the French got treated in Indo China.
