I don't disagree, but Kuznetsov is unlikely to take one of Tampa's one two punch out of the series injured, whereas Ovie could take both Stammer and Point out, if he crushed them into the boards early and often.StCapps wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 4:57 pmKuznetsov is the real Conn Smythe. The one-two punch down the middle is what makes them so formidable, not that Ovechkin shouldn't get a shit ton of credit too, just saying.
Same with Tampa too. The one-two punch of Stamkos and Point down the middle is what makes them so formidable, not that Kucherov shouldn't get a shit ton of credit too, he's going to win the Hart after all, just saying.
Teams that don't have that one-two punch down the middle, will probably lose to teams that do, unless their goalie steals the series for them, or they just shit the bed randomly.

True. Ovechkin has always been a monster forechecker willing to dish out big hits, plus they got Tom Wilson to fuck dudes up as well.Smitty-48 wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 5:05 pmI don't disagree, but Kuznetsov is unlikely to take one of Tampa's one two punch out of the series injured, whereas Ovie could take both Stammer and Point out, if he crushed them into the boards early and often.StCapps wrote: ↑Mon Mar 25, 2019 4:57 pmKuznetsov is the real Conn Smythe. Other than Hedman, the Bolts are basically just the Leafs on steroids, so you beat the Bolts the same way.

The Caps might be stylistic poison for them, then again Leafs on steroids might just overcome. Favor the Sunshine State Warriors, but the Caps have the best chance of knocking them off, if they can't do it, I don't see any team in the West doing it.

They're like a poor man's Loafs, lots of offense no defense spotty goaltending.
