Kate Winslet is a qt in that movie tho, that's how I like em, pretty as can be, but not too skinny.C-Mag wrote: Sat Mar 02, 2019 6:16 pm"So that old lady, she was just a slut"Smitty-48 wrote: Sat Mar 02, 2019 4:04 pmHard not to love Ridley, he is a genius, but his Magnum Opus is Blade Runner.
Aliens however was Cameron, also a genius, but his Magnum Opus is Titanic, love it or hate it, it is none the less a masterpiece.

Do you like Bronson films like Death Wish? Does that hold up for someone that didn't see it back then or has no nostalgic attachment to it etc?

Not true. The first female hero was the single mother. They do things that even 9/11 first responders couldn't imagine (like posting on facebook). Very glad our society has them!GloryofGreece wrote: Sat Mar 02, 2019 7:45 pmFirst real mostly believable female genuine hero. Loves those movies.

didn't think that one was all that good tbh. All those wall street scam movies always rely on really on the nose exposition. For me that takes me out of the film. The best one is Margin Call.GloryofGreece wrote: Sat Mar 02, 2019 8:58 pm Mathew McConaughey in Wolf of Wallstreet stole the scene from good ol Leo.

Movie wasn't great but it was good for what it was. A character study in hubris and greed. But the 5 minute scene i mentioned is pure gold.heydaralon wrote: Sat Mar 02, 2019 9:02 pmdidn't think that one was all that good tbh.
