Cmon, Godless was a fucking great old school western. But you're correct in that statistically, most movies any studio make suck. The Heroes of Telemark story was redone recently as a miniseries The Heavy Water War, by the Nords. It's not on Netflix anymore but it was very good. Badass blond motherfuckers. I didn't know there was a Winter War movie, I'll track that down, I've always found that piece of history interesting and under reported.
