Interview by Christianne Amanpourorr with Stewart and Chapelle

Interesting interview. My first reaction was to their body language, I said to myself, those guys are beaten. After watching the entire thing, that holds, they are at a loss, they don't know what to do with Trump. They even say they thought he was destroyed.


Other fun points. Chapelle recalls being on Saturday Night Live immediately after the election telling people to give Trump a chance and that taking to the street over an election was an overreaction. But no one in that interview seems to understand that is exactly what they did. Stewart said Trump beats the media and will continue to because Trumps plays on the Narcissicsm of the Press............... and basically the press defeats themselves.


Both these guys are bright guys, they don't deserve the reverence the Left gives them and they can't see their own blind spots.

Not to be a dick - but who cares - there's no more room to compromise...we're down to fundamentally differences in the role of government that are simply not reconcilable....

The left has crossed over the demarcation line for many on the right - just a mater of time before the kids are told Mommy and Daddy are getting divorced.

I just like to keep abreast of what people on the various political poles are thinking. Stewart will be listened to. He has such a strong reputation with the Lefties that Amanpourorr calls Stewart 'The Oracle'.

Some of the other socialist varietals sound pretty good also. We won't be selling any of those in Pigeon Forge, I don't reckon.
