Economies redistribute wealth daily. Wealth redistribution is no problem when price points are guiding the allocation of limited resources with alternative uses.

Just not a fan of wealth being redistributed via the opinions of fallible humans who believe they know better than everyone else. Especially when these same fallible humans maintain their position by endorsing policies that appeal to emotions, but can’t deliver on their promises.

Not understanding is not synonymous with refusing to understand. I'd love to understand your point on redistribution, but I don't. A few years back there was a question posed to economists about what would happen if we took all the world's wealth and distributed it evenly to each of the earth's citizens. There was an overwhelming consensus that the money would end up back where it started in a very short amount of time.

I think what we need to do is get out of the mindset that it's okay for taxpayers to subsidize businesses by letting their employees be on welfare because they refuse to pay a decent wage.
