The what is subjective and let's be honest, the media doesn't help much. I'm starting to think they are intentionally stoking the fires a little bit. I want to know why Europeans think the way they do regarding Muslim immigration.

Europe has had large numbers of Muslims for centuries, It is only recently that they have committed terrorist atrocities. I think the thing that has changed this is the interference in the ME and the rise in far right nationalist parties. Only my opinion of course.....

Not really, there has been a strong Front National in France for decades, they used to use the Jews and blacks as their main scapegoat, since 911 they have turned their attention on Muslim immigrants.
It's a terrible vicious cycle.
