One Year Ago Today
Was the best day of my life. I honestly think it was. Sure, my wife had left me nearly one year before and took my son, left me with my crippled cat that I found on the sidewalk and had to give away because I couldn't afford rent on my own while my car was breaking down again for the hundredth time but it was a great night. I knew we would win and I knew it with a passion the whole time. I was so stoked I was doing push-ups in the back of my van and each one of them was for Kek, the god of Chaos and cemented my affirmation to him through every post I made on 4chan, the infamous "Russian Hacking" website that the entire counter culture of disaffected right wingers descended upon like a plague. The feeling you have when you knew you were being vindicated as a world view against all odds.... it must be like when Cinderella was invited to the prom. I'll never get that back. I enjoyed salty tears for about a week and then these sore losers, instead of facing their losing strategy, doubled down on it. It's ok though.

I screenshotted this after the election, I forgot who said it but it's still unbelievable. I did not think Trump would win

It looks like you, or C.
I spent most of the night on the phone trying to talk some faithless bastards down.

I watched in surprise. Enjoyed the spectacle of a moron achieving high office, then went to bed and got up for work the next day.

I really paid little attention election night - voted early and checked online around 10pm, and then again around midnight before going to sleep. The result didn't really surprise me other than in the fact the polls (90% Hillary) were so wrong, but even that wasn't shocking since I understood the overwhelming media bias and figured it'd be far closer of a race.
The liberal tears/panic the next few weeks were quite amusing though. Never seen an election in my life where the parties loss sent them into tears and psychosis to that level.
