The subject of the thread was a question why Islam has not produced any more Golden Age. There is an earlier thread Where some student asked

The second thread that got deleted was a follow up on that discussion. What I said was that I doubted that Islam was the main factor behind the Golden Age. It was a cultured (greco/roman) area before they conquered it. They temporary stability brought on by the Arabs was probably most important.
Once the Muslims consolidated their grip on the area they smothered all progress. To give some credence to my thoughts I linked this NDT video. I know SJWs like him.
