As I've grown older, I question everything. One of the things I've been questioning recently is why everyone says Israel is our greatest ally. Where's the proof ?

To my knowledge the sent no troops to help fight during all of GWOT, nor the Persian Gulf War.
Did they send us supplies, ammo, food ? Are they giving material support to Ukraine ?

Also, if they are our greatest ally, why aren't they in NATO contributing to our mutual defense ?

Since everything is about perception and spin, I’d say their main value is in PR, and a permanent base in the Middle East.

Israel isn’t even our ally but we’re theirs.
