Thanks. Spent all morning making it ugly by filling it up with weeds.

Time for the coop.

Ran out of 2x4s. Gotta go check the scrap piles.

Roof's going on next.

Pretty sure I'm gonna use pallet slats for siding.

Nothing more fun than seeing a project unfold, piece by piece!

What's going on itt? Are you building something? I'm going to drop by and bring my new dewalt 20v cordless drill. This thing is banging. You got to try it fam.

I got rained out. I put two coats of sealer on everything today, so it should be good.

Got a truckload of 2x4s off another job site, and had a talk with a future neighbor.

I should be able to get the rafters and decking on tomorrow. Maybe the nesting box too.

I'm fairly certain I'm gonna use pallet boards for the siding to stick with the repurposed theme. Processing that much material is gonna take a good bit of time and work.

I had a thought that I could make a shake style roof using pallet wood for shingles also, but I don't know how well that would hold up to weather.

I'm gonna have to buy the chicken wire anyway, so it's not gonna be purely repurposed. I should probably save myself a lot of trouble and go with tin.

It's a chicken coop.
