Here is the thing, I missed what you stated about us not being a country of kicking ass and walking away.

Even in the aftermath of the Civil War this was a hearts and minds campaign, though it failed miserably because of the carpet bagging. After every major Indian war we tried to win their hearts and minds with treaties and gibs.

I think it's critical that we understand and move to classify Islam as a political movement, with religious aspects. It really clears things up. The Southside of Chicago is a No Go Zone too.
