We were frankly treated like military thoroughbred tactical athletes.
They literally pampered us, we wanted for nothing.

I wouldn't strike an officer of the United States Navy, even if retired.Speaker to Animals wrote: Thu Mar 21, 2019 1:33 pm I mean.. if you preemptively popped him in the good eye, it's pretty much over, right?
That is a military code I would not forsake.
I am a professional.
If he insisted on laying a beat down on me, I would just have to take one for the Queen.
Then I would call my lawyer.
He is a congressman, I'm not letting him beat on me for free, that would cost him some money.

Never mind that if he completely overreacts and shits the bed, just cause somebody calls him a cuck, that just confirms that he is a cuck, otherwise what is he freaking out about? Protests too much if losing his shit over that.
If somebody calls me a cuck, I just say "how so?"
If they make a very cogent argument, I might just say "you're right, what was I thinking?"

Made me laugh a lot. Beto followed by Klobochar. And the Warren quote is awesome.

What did you do at the FAA? My cousin's ex's mother worked there and made bank. I've heard it is a good gig if you can get it.DBTrek wrote: Thu Mar 21, 2019 2:03 pm Most the guys I served with were 24 y/o or younger, and apolitical.
It wasn’t until I worked at the FAA that I met all the retired government-owes-me-everything vets.
But man, there were a lot of them.

It's a great gig if you want stability and aren't particularly productive.
Lots of 25 year and 30 year employee certificates hanging up in cubes.
Gravy train for everyone but the tower ops and air traffic controllers.

Thought atc's would have made the most, top 10 most stressful civilian jobs I know of. Sounds like a nightmare.
