And?
Seriously, I love thinking about the animal that died when I eat meat, but that is really more about the poetry of my consumption. I like thinking that I am absorbing the life force of some lesser creature.
But, if they get the same taste and texture, with all the blood that is fit to print, plus all the same protein and energy per ounce grown in some mad scientist's lab.... what the fuck do I care?
As long as they can't lie about the protein v fat v sodium v calorie content, and I still get the thrill of animal blood, who is getting their panties in a twist over this?
Please elaborate.Speaker to Animals wrote: Thu Apr 25, 2019 2:29 pmAlso a little concept called micronutrients..Hanarchy Montanarchy wrote: Thu Apr 25, 2019 2:17 pmLoads more. "Relative" and "arbitrary" are not equivalent terms.DBTrek wrote: Thu Apr 25, 2019 2:28 pm Here’s a challenge, let’s both jump out of a plane, me with a parachute, you without, and on the way down we can discuss how things like language, gravity, and life are completely arbitrary and relative. At least, up until impact, that is.

Not true. I am not familiar with the concept of micronutrients. If it is impossible to get them with cultured meat products, and they are relevant to human nutrition, I am open to changing my opinion on cultured meat.DBTrek wrote: Thu Apr 25, 2019 2:33 pm Shun this fake meat eating relativist.
He doesn’t even believe in words.
It’s a trap.
