My mother's family loves Disney's Condorman from the 80s.
In no particular order:
1) Star Wars: A New Hope
2) Raiders of the Lost Ark
3) Kingdom of Heaven
4) The Dark Knight

Late 20's? Those selections are cute but they scream of innocence. No one, who's balls have dropped, calls the original Star Wars "A new Hope". It is and always will be just known as the first Star Wars.

But I view it the same way I do the Legends thing (if you can't tell already, Star Wars in one of my things): I can call Legends the Expanded Universe all I want in a private or familiar setting, but I wouldn't with fans who only know of THA and Disney's tv show, because that might cause confusion.
Perhaps this reinforces the notion that list gave you, and that would probably then be correct.

Sci Fi - "Blade Runner"
Scary (also fits in sci fi category) - "Alien"
Oldie (Really old compared to the others on the list) - "Casablanca"
Musical - "My Fair Lady"
Big Screen Epic - "Lawrence of Arabia"
