Your plan is equivalent to addressing gun crime with gun free zones. It's asinine.

It lacks sex appeal. The wall is a physical object people can easily envision, your plan doesn't have that visual working for it. Gotta step your game up, cheap and effective doesn't sell itself, gotta work on the sales pitch. Trump did and that's a big reason people like his plan instead of another plan, salesmanship matters.

The problem with that idea is that the Drug Cartels, for years now - btw, have been digging tunnels to avoid the wall and even the border police. You also have coyotes also know as coyotajes (the inhuman monsters that would smuggle people in the most horrible conditions) out there as well and they are also connected to the drug cartels as well. The problem is a wall is not going to stop this nor solve this, but instead just exacerbate the problem more.

America needs to control its borders. Period. No waffling. About half the nation doesn't actually believe that, and few in the rest of the World do because socialist ideology discourages borders. So even though a physical wall is the poorest of the containment options, it seems to be the only one that can get traction. Socialists say "no" & Liberty folks say "yes," and something happens, or not, depending on which half controls the nation.
