As far as the Pic. Presumably the Mexican Flag, the Swastika and even the ultimately the evil Sickle and Hammer would be acceptable, makes no sense...…. no logic in it.
The American flag appears to have more rights than many of the population. You can vilify sections of society leading to hate crimes, shoot trespassers to the back and protest at miliary funerals with banners which proclaim that God hates fags but heaven forbid you make a cushion out of the stars and stripes. It's a piece of cloth and not a living person, get over yourselves.
If you disagree with a school's dress code you are free to look for an alternative.

The Flag Code (which I think is pretty stupid FYI) has nothing to do with this ban. The Left, and by extension, this school, has deemed the American flag and patriotism in general as polarizing, racist, and probably sexist too. That's what the problem is here

Come to think of it, just send 'em over. They'll get so shocked at how capitalist-loving and "racist" against immigration our Social Democrats are, that they'll flee across the bridge to Sweden after about a month. Swedish Social Democrats will roll out the welcoming mat, I'm sure.
