The Vietnamese; a noble people, a beautiful people, they just wanted reunification, they didn't hate America, they idolized it. Killed three million of them.
China is actually a serious threat down the road but before then it will play a beautiful role in exposing democracy to be a fallacious facade. Soon they will prove, to everyone that doesn't already know, it's perfectly possible to indoctrinate the masses to go along with whatever, using state manipulated media. Western journos are going to fall all over their own swords pointing out how evil China is for doing it. Sooner or later. Maybe .... if they are smart they won't.
As usual, many of the non-interventionists of this forum are engaging in wishful thinking with these North Korean peace talks. Trusting North Korea to be reasonable is just misguided.
