The reasons given for the weakness are completely false. If anything the military is weak because of over funding. Priorities are not poorly defined, the priorities of the current US military could not be clearer.

Well that’s a little 2 birds 1 stone situation there.

The foreign army kills off our trash and then weakens their forces making it easier for our real men to mop them up.

I do believe our military is weaker than it has been in a long time, but it has nothing to do with underfunding.

Classic Republicans will fall for it and call for more military funding. More pork filled bills signed off on by both sides of the swamp.
