Fake news is everywhere. At least lazy-assed bullshit "reporting" is everywhere.

The market for actual, IRL, journalism is wide open and ripe for the picking. Somebody who wants to bust their ass and actually do the job can get fat stacks.

Recruiting sites rated football prospect who didn’t exist
The practice of catfishing has apparently entered the college football recruiting world.

On Wednesday, an offensive tackle from Grace Christian High School in Knoxville, Tenn., named Blake Carringer showed up as a three-star prospect on Rivals.com. He was listed at 6-foot-6, 315 pounds, with scholarship offers from Alabama, Georgia and Florida, among other schools.

One problem: Blake Carringer doesn’t exist.

Some person or persons created Carringer out of whole cloth, but not before his name showed up on Rivals.com and in the Knoxville News Sentinel. And because his name was on Rivals.com, he was automatically listed in the 247 Sports Composite rankings, which aggregates and averages recruiting rankings from its own site, as well as Rivals.com and ESPN.com.
You do have to respect that Blake from Knoxville has an impressive list: Bammer, Gata, and Amherst. :goteam: :drunk:

Meanwhile in Alabama, Chequita ain't having your honkie shit at the buffet.

Two people arrested after fight over crab legs
Police arrested John Chapman and Chequita Jenkins who was eating at the buffet with her kids.

"They'd been waiting there for the crab legs for a good 10, 20 minutes. When they finally came out, it's very heated. Especially if someone is taking more than their fair share," Johnson recounted.

Does anyone else read Appalachian Mag online ?
I enjoy it, always interesting articles, like this one on Ginseng. I always wondered how Ginseng got to be a thing amongst the hillfolk.
