You are still confusing nationalism with patriotism. You won't find many more patriotic than me, I can cheer on Mo Farrah as our greatest ever long distance runner whereas a nationalist sees him as a Somali immigrant taking the job of a "British" runner. I don't want right wing vigilantes patrolling the streets chasing anyone in a headscarf, not in my name and not waving my flag. The police don't put up with it either. Every time scum like the EDL protest on the streets they are met by a much bigger group of Anti-Nazi league protesters and those of their ilk. Don't appropriate my flag for your twisted protest and learn the difference between nationalism and patriotism.

The nationalism versus patriotism quip is a meaningless distinction that has nothing to do with what I posted. It appears that you are virtue signaling again. As far as the EDL.. that's your business as an Englishmen. I only call it as I see it. Currently you have a violent parallel culture of Muslim immigrants intent on replacing you and imposing sharia law across Europe. They now enforce sharia law in Muslim no-go areas in parts of London with sharia patrols in which they regularly are filmed beating people, including women, and disparaging the English population. The police do very little to combat this for fear of being labeled racist by your marxist political class. The only people I see actually directly combating these illegal sharia patrols are the EDL and Britain First. So, say whatever you want about them, the point remains. Nobody else seems to confront radical Islam in your nation.

You attacked them for being "far right". Regardless of the merit of that claim, they at least try to preserve English culture and England itself. You oppose those things. So your assertion that somehow they are the ones attempting to co-opt the Cross of St. George and not you.. that's just absurd on the face of it.

And your nation truly is at a crossroads. You now export terrorism. That's how bad it has become. Major ISIS personalities, including recruiters and executioners of Christian people are from England. Your terrorists are moving on from only killing you to gunning for the rest of us. At some point you need to choose between fighting terrorism and "multiculturalism". It's that simple.

We are not at some mythical crossroads where if we take the wrong move we will lose our cultural history. We have not been a Christian nation for some time, Churches have been closing due to lack of interest for decades.
The rule of law still stands and we will deal with our terrorists as the criminals they are. One of the reasons Muslims become radicalised is ignorant bigots like yourself.

There is an important difference between nationalism or patriotism.

Patriotism is loving your country, nationalism is thinking that your country is superior to others. Or as a dictionary defines it: "a sense of national consciousness exalting one nation above all others and placing primary emphasis on promotion of its culture and interests as opposed to those of other nations or supranational groups"

Even if I think my people are good, I won't say they far better than other people.

Actually an large segment of people who tend to be quite patriotic are expats, people working in other countries. They cherish their own culture, have a positive feeling about their country. And as aliens, do feel how it is to be a foreigner.
