They really don't see it. These people cannot see the absurdity of these criticisms. Women are always the victim is their mantra. To see that men were the primary victims of the world wars is not possible. They will just try to look at the Holocaust or some other thing to obfuscate the enormous death toll for white men.
This is why the media, when confronted with male fatalities, will say things like 2 firefighters died last night. They will strip the message of any reference to the men's gender. But if a woman dies, they will be sure to say: 2 firefighters, including a female firefighter, died last night..
I don't think they can really cognitively process it. The fact that almost all the deaths at Dunkirk were white men is completely irrelevant because they truly believe white men cannot be victims of anything. They want to know how many women died. They want to know if any minorities died. Almost 70,000 white men being killed or captured by the Nazis at Dunkirk is just background noise to them compared to the "real" victims.
These people really are infected with a kind of psychological cancer. So-called social justice truly is a kind of cancer.
