Hard to imagine three generals in the presidents ear. Flynn, Mad Dog and Petreaus all trying to steer the ship. Sounds like fun cabinet meetings to me.

Hard to imagine those three coming down on the same page and if they do, even harder imagining Trump standing up to them.

I'm not a fan of Patreaus, I am a fan of the other two, although, a fan of Mattis as a Marine Infrantry Commander, not neccesarily a Cabinet Secretary, I don't think the two are mutually exclusive, none the less, I don't think good at the one necessarily by default means good at the other.

That being said, most SECDEF's are useless as tits on a slug, so Mattis has a very low bar to meet in any case, and in the role of second in the chain of command in terms of the NCA, I definitely like Mattis for that aspect, to wit, Call Sign Chaos is now Call Sign Nightwatch through the Looking Glass; TACAMO!
