And a city, and still not a country.
Well, the comparison is to a region of people. I don't think the virus knows the difference between a national and state government. LOL
You should compare similar groupings of people, and then look at the government responsible for managing the pandemic in that group. The outbreak does not happen for a whole country unless it's a little country like what you see in Europe. You need to consider not everybody in the world lives in tiny countries like you do.
Riiiiight so when countries are routinely compared by deaths pr. million, that's just everyone else being silly, then? Because Belgium has a smaller total population than the US, it makes "no sense" to compare the two? Even by death pr million inhabitant?

I was not comparing them in that way. You were. I was speaking about total deaths and we are at the top of that list, and most of those deaths are in New York and New Jersey.
When actually looking at the population sets, it makes more sense to compare states like New York to individual nations within the EU. But, unlike the EU, our federal government had a lot to do with why it is so bad here (and that's not to say the New York state and New York City governments are not hugely to blame as well).
Serious question - 95% of my friends all say Orange Man has shown he is racist over last 3.5 years. I don’t ask them for examples anymore - they keep saying he uses “Dog whistles”.
My question is this - am I really blind to racism? I just don’t see it. He appoints blacks to courts and positions of power in government- prior to covid, minority unemployment was at an all time low. What am I failing to see? Some
Of these people are highly educated - I’m honestly beginning to wonder if I really am blind.
Some people call out his use of “shithole” countires. But when you look at the places he was referring too - no one wants to live there and everyone wants to leave....I just don’t get it. I mean I get the propaganda push by far left handlers....but the fact that so many people I know believe it makes me question my own sanity.
Can someone here please give an explanation as to how the Hair God Emperor has hurt minorities over last 3.5 years - I’m being serious in my request.

You have to be racist to hear the "dog whistles". That's how a dog whistles works, it's well above the hearing of normal human hearing.
...which says something about that 95% of your friends.
