I'm against these Presidential Libraries, All of Them !
It's a waste of money to canonize people that are supposed to be public servants.

C-Mag wants to warm his hands over the embers of presidential monuments to literature.
YOU KNOW WHO ELSE LIKED TO BURN BOOKS ...

Were doing it on May Day and we're jumping over the fire naked followed by a drunken orgy.

There should be one librarycontaining documents from every presidency.
I would build it in the middle of nowhere and sell off the gaudy presidential libraries.

Probably should just all be archived in some dusty wing of the Smithsonian.
Or stashed in a warehouse next to the Ark.

+1
That would be satisfactory to me.
You look at that Library design for Obama, it's a gaudy, oversized momument. Take a look at Hoovers
or even FDRs
They were libraries, not Monuments meant to canonize someone.

Doesn't look like everyone is an Obama fan in Chicago. A public parks advocacy group is suing to stop the construction of the Obama Social Justice Mega-Center and Presidential Library.
The lawsuit says the original plan was to transfer public park land to the foundation for the purpose of housing an official federal Obama library, but that now the center will not include Obama's official presidential library.
Oy .... just one giant homage to their great savior. :hurl:
On a side note, heard an interview on the radio today that the Lincoln Library is in trouble financially and will likely have to sell off some artifacts to stay solvent.

Is that place going to be the center for Obama's efforts to create a million Mini-mes?
