Nothing to worry about, California just made knowingly not revealing you have AIDS to a sexual partner (and potentially infecting them) is only a misdemeanor, not a felony anymore.
I'm waiting for the next ruling that secretly feeding your partner small doses of rat poison or arsenic or heavy metal poisoning them, causing them a potential lifetime of medical issues and/or early death... is only a misdemeanor charge.
