Ebola in Sweden? Maybe.

Suspected Ebola case in Sweden as patient quarantined after vomiting blood
Currently the biggest outbreak of Ebola since 2014. We're not even close to the 14,000 people killed in 2014. But I am seeing concern as Ebola keeps blowing through the Quarantine Zones and spreading.

I'm not a panic monkey on this stuff, but historically speaking you know a pandemic is going to happen at some point.

My money's still on economic collapse. It's pretty late in the season for a tropical disease.

Manual labor boosts happiness
-Working with your hands affects brain chemistry in a positive way.
-Automation technologies can strip away a sense of agency and meaning in our lives.
-Using your hands connects you with your environment in a way that most technologies cannot.

I recently listened to Tucker Carlson on the Carolla Podcast, they talked about this. Tucker admitted that he was a bit of a dictator about this with people that work for them. He demands that his employees have manual hobbies. Carlson also is a woodworker, with a carpenter shop at both of his homes.

If any of you don't have manual hobbies or crafts, I urge you to take one up.

The Raconteur Report has periodic updates on this http://raconteurreport.blogspot.com/sea ... 6:00-08:00 Here's the F'd up thing, the guy that went to Sweden and the guy that went to the US were both moved prior to meeting the standard quarantine time. Which as the report lays out is playing with fire.

This man is meta if that term is to mean a damned thing. He's growing tropical fruits in fucking Nebraska.

I think nurseries are the future for the small grower. You can make a fair income if you can identify a good niche market in your area. Also be able to grow quite a lot of food.

$0.80 per day in energy costs for that entire greenhouse.

His profit margin is more than ten times what a Florida orange grower gets.
