People pointed out that it was technically a violation of the rules, but I didn't call the fun police, haters gon hate, goes with the territory.

It's like when I first got to the DCF I once PM'd Dan to say "wtf, don't you have any rules here?" and he basically said "not really, no, it's a self policing community, you basically make your way by reputation alone and fight your own battles, if we tried to take a hard and fast line, it would kill the golden goose."

The mods on the DCF basically just dealt with bots and advertisements, to conflate thread jacking with "spam" is ultimate weaksauce.

Might be time for me to take a self imposed break from the site.
Best Wishes, I'll check in later.

Enjoy your echo chamber, you've definately earned it.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Sayonara, Big Bad Thatcherite Machine rolls on without you.

Reality check, there's plenty to argue about, without having to wade through canned liberal talking points and associated cry whining.

Even that rule was ignored by the moderators if it was me who was targeted. Moderators in general are shit unless you take them from various groups. When you have a small clique, they only enforce rules for their friends. This is a universal thing across the Internet. No personal insult intended.

If I recall, Smitty was targeted with his very own hate thread at least once as well. Nobody moderated that either.
I should trust you as part of a mod group. Why?
Smitty-48 wrote:Anybody whose thinking this forum is going to die, just because some weakshit posters storm off, guess again, the hardcore will still be here, when you come crawling back, there's only a handful of us who carry most of the conversation anyways, and none of us, are down with the fun police, bet dat.

For the hardcore, all we really need is a place to check in once in awhile, we don't need a bazillion threads and dozens of people in them, there's too many threads as it is, and most of it is empty calorie threads anyways, so less is more in fact.
Examples for high and low calorie threads?

High calorie threads are the ones that I find interesting, low calorie threads are the ones that I do not.
