The Batman is Pretty Good

I'm so done with cape movies but I'd heard "The Batman" was film noir so I watched it: glad I did. Very dark. (Not as dark as one of my books but good enough.)

I honestly thought it was decent.

What I loved:
1. Batman acted like a detective, not just a badass
2. The film was shot in a way that you could almost picture it like a comic book

What I hated:
1. A nods to woke ideology in one scene. I can’t recall it at the moment but I remember thinking…oh there it is because they have to throw that into F’ing everything.

My my top 5 Batman movie in order.

1. Batman (1989)
2. The Dark Knight (2008)
3. Batman Begins (2005)
4. The Batman (2022)
5. The Dark Knight Rises (2012)
There is a time for good men to do bad things.

For fuck sake, 1984 is NOT an instruction manual!
