What I want to know, is why do these assholes always seem to find me? I mean seriously, people always seem "happy" at work, and I find the assholes that would rather replay the assassination of Ceasar on me than actually do right by me...fml.
I don’t know how you’re looking for work, but you’re doing it wrong.

I just update my resume on indeed and let recruiters come to me. Ignore anyone with an Indian accent.
I do ignore everyone with an Indian accent, and they are coming to me, but how do you say that you were canned by your last job, and you don't want them talking to your former employer because you have a lawsuit against them for breaking the law?

Questions will come up like " Will he look into our shit and send the feds to us?"

I've been 2nd best on about a dozen jobs already, getting tired of it honestly.

Well why did you? We’re you laid off or did you get fired?

Myself and a few other people were unceremoniously let go by the CEO. There is a long and convoluted reason why this happened and basically was that people were costing too much money and he needed it to spend on his son's care.

We were all lied to when it came to our terminations too, but I can't say that to a potential employer either way.

That’s called ‘laid off’. Not a problem.

So why were you laid off?
You say ‘laid off due to budget cuts’. Say the same thing on your application if you have to fill one out.

This is not that difficult, just tedious.

Yeah, I've been doing that lately, but still, not exactly fun trying to say the same thing over, and over and over again. I swear it's ageism....

Nah it’s a pain in the ass no matter what. Tech jobs are easy when you’re 25 and just trying to get in the door for slave wages.
