I am 10 seconds away from blacklisting all communication from India. I have gotten over 3 dozen phone calls from what I call shitstickers.

Shitstickers are "recruiters" that keyword search and throw dozens of jobs at you without any care if you are qualified, overqualified, or not even in the same field.

Fucking hell, job hunting is hard enough, these assholes are making it depressing.

Oh, that isn't my problem... they call almost as quickly as they send the email. When I pick up the phone it is literally "You want the job"? As the second thing out of their mouth. The first is an attempt to explain where they are from and who they are (some American sounding name).

I caught them in so many lies it's not funny... They call from "NJ" when they talk to me they say the distance is 50 kilometers away... Or when they call at 8:30 AM in the morning and you hear the call to afternoon prayer behind them... or some other rot... you know full well when they call they aren't in the US.

On top of that, they also claim that I would be great for a job (that I haven't done in over 9 years)... I ask them "Have you looked at my resume before calling me." They say almost without a skip "Your resume says you did desktop support."

I then start to get annoyed and I ask "What was the last job I had?"

They say "Oh..."

They apologize, etc... but seriously, google and other entities like Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, etc should block all calls that are coming from international but are showing up as somewhere in the US as the caller ID...

Why not? We stopped companies from showing alcohol and tobacco commercials to kids. It be a lot more simple to block routed incoming calls from a country using fake information than you think. Servers already do it.
