The bulk of Tyson fights had only one knockdown
Exactly.
These two guys slugged it out for 11 rounds. No one sided contest, no rope a dope snoozefest for most of the fight, just standing toe to toe trading punches until one of them couldn't get up again.
was fairly one sided

but Wilder had his moments

especially in the fourth

still a classic
Wilder's extra weight combined with Fury's better tactics did make it one sided towards the end but Wilder could still have won it with a single punch for most of the fight.
I'm not going to rate it against classic battles from 50 years ago but I will say it's the best fight in a generation.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Wilder is always one punch away from winning

that's what makes him so fun

best heavyweight fight in a long time

no doubt

after the fifth it was pretty clear to me that Wilder landing that one punch was a hail mary tho

he needed to get the finish while he had Fury hurt

after he failed to do so the writing was on the wall

Yeah I agree with that. Hell of a fight. I’m not saying it was the best fight ever. But it is up there when you are taking about Championship bouts. This fight did at lot for boxing. Fury is entertaining as hell. In a lot of ways he is the white Ali, not saying that he is as good but with regards to his boxing abilities and his hilarious mouth you can see the comparison.
