If you are going for 50 year old race cars then look no further than duelling Cobras. It was estimated that there was about £15 million worth of cars on the track this year in the 50s and 60s revival race.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Loves me some Shelby's, but that's a couple levels below GT40

I like state of the art tho, Formula 1 is the pinnacle, but that's practically aerospace

I'm a big fan of Le Mans too, PT FTW.

Funny that you say Le Mans. I was just watching this after I posted the Cobras.
180 mph down the Mulsanne Straight in the early 1950s.

I remember when this was the bleeding edge tho.

These are the "classic" cars to me.
