Does the rest of the world see American cinema as less unique now?

Did they watch them in the past because of the cool factor and now they just watch them because of the spectacle?

If they watch them now they shouldn't. In the past yeah it was cool. Now.... it's something else. But they still make good movies (yes I said they, they are not American,) from time to time like the Revenant. That's the last movie I bothered to check out that was pretty good.

Japan, India, South Korea has and output just as nice. You have to turn parts of your brain off for the Indian stuff, they make both movies and cinema.

I'm going to go ahead and run with my assertion that American "cinema" or "movies" or whatever the fuck you're calling them are in fact not American because I believe no one else will be able to touch this ball while I run away with it.
