Noticing a distinct drop in the snarky "the loss of net neutrality is going to be a disaster, lol" posts.
Mastercard cutting off Patreon accounts has nothing to do with net neutrality.

Bullshit

All of this has to do with net neutrality.

You cannot have an alternative to Patreon because the companies who control the internent backbone, the DNS servers, the domain registries, and even the DDOS prevention services will just erase you. You will have your domain robbed from you. You will have your domain stricken from DNS servers so that users will have to type in a long string of numbers to find your site. Then they will deny you access to DDOS protection so that their hackers can shut you down from there.

It is 100% about net neutrality.

Even if you somehow passed laws to prevent the above, the network providers can essentially throttle all traffic to your site to ZERO if they decide they don't want the opinions expressed there being read or heard. Wake the fuck up.

How do you not process this fact?

You gave globalist corporations the freedom to throttle traffic to any site they don't like with impunity.

If all the major internet providers decided that they wouldn't allow customers to read conservative or right wing news any longer, what exactly are you going to do about it now?

Just think it through.

Until they get shut down.

Answer me this simply question:

What exactly are you going to do when all the network providers refuse to allow network traffic to and from those alternatives?

You supported giving them that power and now you are complaining about the consequences.

All we need are just a few more government regulations and a U.S. Dept. of the Internet, and we'll be free forever!
