Still a lot of military on my side of town. They used all of our schools as evac shelters. There's a giant fleet of nice white vans that must be government at the high school.

I wouldn't mind having one of those, but I would build a hard shelter in the back with A/C and a decent living space.

Maybe the neighbouring States prayed harder.
Oh well, at least he didn't kill 14,000 like the Hindu, Muslim and Bhuddist Gods did in the last week.

Where did God promise you that he would preserve you from natural disaster and hardships if you pray hard enough?
Natural disasters? I thought he was omnipotent....
It's like you're saying prayer is pointless.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

What does omnipotency have to do with it? God does not preserve us from natural disasters because we are fallen, and he certainly doesn't preserve us from hardships in our lives for good reason.

Life's too short.

But it's not too short to remind the world how much you hate God every chance you get, apparently.

This is the type of objection to God that a smart 14-year-old boy makes.
