I hack on the EU all the time, but here's something potentially good from them, the EU's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
This reg effectively cuts of Facebooks reckless usage of your private data.

Facebook who has their fake HQ in Ireland to slip past paying US taxes will be under these EU laws come May 25, and they are scrambling to figure out a fix where they can have their cake and eat it too.

US Citizens need to watch how this law is employed by the EU and perhaps demand the same in the US to get rid of the reckless selling and use of your private data.

I gotta say no thanks.

I've dealt with EU privacy hoops. I'm good without their idiocy.

Every five hundred cookies on every one of the billions of websites out there is in a line reaching to the moon and back to be the next thing legislated against once they're done with facebook.

99% of the internet is websites that gather data on visitors and sell it to advertisers. It's how the entire the entire system runs.

Just say no to more idiotic EU bureaucracy legislating the curve of internet bananas.

Count Dankula fined but no custodial sentence.
Idiot tax set at £800.
Cheap considering how much world wide attention he got for his comedy channel.
He must be delighted.
For legal reasons, we are not threatening to destroy U.S. government property with our glorious medieval siege engine. But if we wanted to, we could. But we won’t. But we could.

Probably the most pathetic person I've ever known.

Not difficult to do in SQL, actually... You could set up a stored proc to run this process nightly.
Yes, almost done with that. I had 80 data fields that store an employee ID.

There's no sql, though, that will scan documents attached to the database for names of employees and their company name that will automatically tap into some system that will tell the sql if the person who signed the contract still works for our client;.

That's the task I was originally told I had to accomplish, but they've backed down on that. The sql part is easy.
Why are all the Gods such vicious cunts? Where's the God of tits and wine?
