Common Sense 322 - Betting on Long Shots

Post by Hastur » Tue Aug 31, 2021 10:39 pm

Now we don't have to guess what Dan would say. He was persuaded by his fans to weigh in.
After 20 years in Afghanistan the U.S. exits the country thus ending the longest war in American history. Are there any lessons to be learned?

The cry of the Democrat - "GRAVEYARD OF EMPIRES". If you can't blame Trump (and they'll try), then blame the inevitability of destiny (they'll also try).
"It's historical fact guys, no one can leave Afghanistan without an ass whooping. It's called the graveyard of empires. You can't blame the president for what God has ordained"
... except our "empire" isn't in a graveyard - and we were dealt no military defeat.
But you know - why let that stop the constant blame shifting the left engages in to subvert their litany of failures?
