I should have read this years ago

I found it deep on my Amazon wish list, it was probably recommended by one of you back in the DCF days

That was the only high school novel assigned over the summer worth my time. Changed my life.

That's gotta be the same Fremantle. I'm just wondering why it ends in June 1863--the Brit was at Gettysburg, and even the cover looks like Lee with Longstreet, Hood and Hill at Gettysburg.

Just done reading this masterpiece. A true pageturner. Fastest read in a long time.
